Drilled (coreless) lotus seeds have the bitter green plumule precisely removed, giving a clean, sweet taste ideal for tea drinks, soups and baby food. Processed on an automated drilling line with a core-removal rate of 99.9%, they are sulfur-free (no added SO2) and traceable to our certified Xiangtan base. Without the bitter heart, they are traditionally enjoyed as a gentle, calming food that supports restful sleep — a favorite in soothing lotus-seed tea and sweet soups.
