What is the minimum order quantity (MOQ)?+
Lotus seeds: MOQ from 500 kg. Five-nut and bean ingredients: 1–5 tonnes depending on line. Sample MOQ is negotiable.
Can I get a sample first?+
Yes. Samples are available with freight collect; a small handling fee may apply for a full set. Samples are shipped by air courier within 3–5 days.
What are the main grades and sizes?+
Lianmei sorts lotus into 5 grades: Grade 1 ≥12.5 mm, Grade 2 11.5–12.5 mm, Grades 3–5 for different uses. Specify your target diameter for a precise quote.
What certificates and reports do you provide?+
SC, ISO 9001, HACCP, EU GAP, Green Food (4 products), Halal (JAKIM-recognized), Organic in-conversion (GB/T 19630), GI 'Xiang Lian' licence, plus per-batch lab reports (moisture, aflatoxin B1, pesticide residues, SO2).
What's the difference between FOB and CIF quotes?+
FOB (Free On Board) covers the goods, China port export customs clearance and loading — you arrange ocean freight and insurance with your own forwarder. CIF (Cost, Insurance & Freight) adds ocean freight and marine insurance at 110% of invoice value, delivered to your named destination port. Every quotation states its FX reference date and carries a 2% currency buffer. Bulk prices are confirmed by grade & volume on RFQ.
What are your payment terms and incoterms?+
Bank transfer (T/T) is our standard; for larger or repeat orders we can discuss an irrevocable L/C at sight. A deposit is required for first-time accounts, and the balance is settled before original shipping documents are released — the standard export safeguard that protects both sides. We quote FOB Guangzhou/Shenzhen/Changsha or CIF to your destination port; tell us your destination for a landed-cost estimate.

How do lotus seeds differ from white gorgon fruit or other seeds?+
Lotus seeds (Nelumbo nucifera) are sweet and creamy with low bitterness, ideal for soups and dessert pastes. Each product line has different processing — ask us for the right one for your dish or filling.
